On Monday, Vijay Deverakonda had a big party in Visakhapatnam to celebrate the success of his movie, Kushi. In this romantic comedy, he stars alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Vijay surprised his fans at the event by announcing that he would give one lakh rupees to 100 households as a way to share his happiness and the movie’s earnings with them.

Speaking in Telugu on stage, Vijay said, “I am giving away one crore rupees to 100 families to share my joy with all of you. Each of these families will receive one lakh rupees, and this money comes from my personal account.” The audience cheered loudly in response. Earlier this year, he had also sent 100 of his followers on an all-expenses-paid trip to Manali. According to reports, Vijay revealed that he wanted to make his parents proud, earn a good income, and gain respect from others. He mentioned that despite fake reviews and negative comments, the love and support from his audience prevailed. He promised to deliver the money to the 100 households within a week or ten days and expressed his gratitude to his fans, nearly tearing up.
