Varun Dhawan to star in the Indian spin-off of Priyanka Chopra’s Amazon Prime Video series Citadel?
Some Good News coming in for all Varun Dhawan fans. After Bollywood biggies like Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, and now Shah Rukh Khan have announced their digital debut, it is time for Varun Dhawan to make his OTT debut. Yes, You read that right.
If reports are to be believed, the ‘Bhediya’ star has signed on for a Hindi-language series that will be a spin-off of ‘Citadel’, the Amazon Prime Video show that stars Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden. ‘Citadel’, which is being created by Anthony and Joe Russo, reportedly will have a number of satellites series filmed in different languages with local stars. Dhawan will feature in the Hindi version, with a full cast to be announced in the coming months. Reports further claim that shooting will start in January with directors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK (‘The Family Man’) helming the project. Varun Dhawan will next be seen in Jug Jugg Jeeyo with Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Youtuber Mostlysane aka Prajakta Koli. He also featured in the song ‘Vighnaharta’ from Aayush Sharma and Salman Khan’s film Antim: The Final Truth. How excited are you to see Varun in Citadel?
