Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most popular and loved TV shows in the Hindi content space and the show has been entertaining one and all for almost 15 years now. Whoever has watched the show will know very well that Ghanshyam Nayak aka ‘Natu Kaka’ was an integral part of the cast.
The veteran actor passed away a few days back after a long battle with cancer and we saw the entire TMKOC cast pay a heartfelt tribute to the great man. And now, Shailesh Lodha aka our very own Taarak Mehta has paid a heartfelt tribute to the man with his special writing.
Recently, Tanmay Vekaria (Bagga) had shared that Ghanshyam Nayak was in immense pain for the last 2-3 months. Ghanshyam Nayak had last shot for his portion in Daman, when the unit had shifted out of Mumbai, due to the second lockdown. As reported in Bombay Times, a few months ago, Ghanshyam Nayak shared that he was eager to join the team.
Ghanashyam Nayak was an integral part of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, in which he featured in the role of Nattu Kaka. His signature dialogue on the show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah was: “Heh, mujhe kuch kaha? (Did you say something to me?).”
Ghanashyam Nayak’s impressive resume as an actor includes appearances in over hundreds of movies, both in Bollywood and in the Gujarati film industry. Ghanashyam Nayak has also featured in over 300 television shows. Ghanashyam Nayak was a prominent personality in Gujarati theatre. Ghanashyam Nayak is survived by his family – wife and three kids.
