In one video, he’s dancing in the rain to a song from his upcoming movie, “The Great Indian Family,” and he’s surrounded by fans. He wrote in the caption that he had a great time celebrating Janmashtami with the love of his fans and mentioned that the movie will be in cinemas on September 22.
The choreographer of the song, Vijay Ganguly, reacted to the video with heart and fire emojis. In “The Great Indian Family,” Vicky Kaushal plays the role of Bhajan Kumar. On Janmashtami, he also shared photos with young kids dressed as Lord Krishna and wished everyone a happy Janmashtami.
The movie, directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and featuring former Miss World Manushi Chhillar, is produced by Yash Raj Films. They recently released the first song, “Kanhaiya Twitter Pe Aaja,” which is a lively track.
Vicky Kaushal has another movie titled “Sam Bahadur,” directed by Meghna Gulzar, set to be released on December 1.
