Ekta Kapoor has signed Bigg Boss 16 fame Shalin Bhanot in the Hindi remake of her upcoming show ‘Beauty and the Beast’ replacing Kushal Tandon.

While Ekta has signed Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia from ‘Bigg Boss 16’ for ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2‘, she has already locked a name for ‘Naagin 7‘. Meanwhile, news is coming that Ekta Kapoor has signed Shalin Bhanot for the Hindi remake of her project based on ‘Beauty and the Beast’. The special thing is that Ekta had earlier signed Kushal Tandon for this fantasy show, but now Shalin has replaced him.
According to the report of ETimes, earlier Ektaa had finalized Kushal Tandon for the Hindi remake of ‘Beauty and the Beast’, but has now made up her mind to take Shalin Bhanot. It is known fact that EK recently went to ‘Bigg Boss 16’ with LSD 2 director Dibakar Banerjee. There she auditioned all the housemates from Shalin to Nimrit. It is being told that Dibakar Banerjee was very fond of Shalin’s acting and he told Ekta to change her decision for ‘Beauty and the Beast’. A source informs, “Yes, the deal is final and we have now signed Shalin Bhanot as the male lead. ‘Bigg Boss 16’ is ending on 12 February.
