Bigg Boss 16 fame Shalin Bhanot is back on the screen with a mystical show Beqaboo on colors. The promo has some major similarities with Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra.
After garnering a lot of fame with his stint in Salman Khan’s Bigg boss 16; Shalin Bhanot has bagged Ekta Kapoor’s project on Colors. Earlier there were speculations that he will be a part of a show based on theme of ‘beauty and the beast’ and the latest promo suggest the new show is based on a fight between an angel and a devil Beqaboo.
Shalin Bhanot and Eisha Singh will helm the show and it is being touted as the next great mystical adventure. The first Beqaboo Promo was launched on social media by Shalin. Shortly after his promotion, his fellow bigg boss 16 inmates congratulated him on the show. Gautam Vig dropped a “thumbs up” emoji. Sreejita De, who also was part of BB16, wrote: “Congratulations. Many of their fans made their comeback, “You deserve this sha,” wrote one fan. Nia Sharma commented, “@shalinbhanot … 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯 keep goinggg..”

Beqaboo Copy Of Brahmastra?
The video clip is giving off Brahmastra vibes. Not few but surprisingly every other scene has one or more similarities which reminds us of Alia-Ranbir’s film which was release in April 2022. Some teaser shots will surely remind you of Ayan Mukerji’s direction. A mystical man wielding a trident who unleashes his wrath with fire. Shalin and Eisha have special powers and the battle sequence is identical to Brahmastra. People commented- “144p version of Brahmastra”. Well, it will be too early to comment whether the story is similar to of Brahmastra or just the characters are.
Beqaboo’s release date is not yet known, but the show will air on Colors. Shalin will also appear in Khatron Ke Khiladi 13.
