Actor Shahid Kapoor is on a roll since the success of Kabir Singh. The actor has Jersey, the big mythological, Karna, a show with Raj and DK, and a film with Ali Abbas Zafar which will release digitally.
While it’s been some time since the news about Ali Abbas Zafar and Shahid Kapoor‘s collaboration is out, very few know that it is actually an official adaptation of a French thriller film, Nuit Blanche.

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the filmmaker acquired the rights to remake Nuit Blanche (Sleepless Nights in English). The original film featured Tomer Sisley as the lead and revolved around the life of a cop whose association with the underworld comes out in the open when they try to steal drugs from a powerful drug lord. The Kabir Singh star will mostly play the cop. The report also suggests that the film has been altered keeping the Indian mindset in place. The report further mentions that a top actress is being considered to play the female lead.
Shahid also reportedly has Operation Cactus and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Karna lined up, both of which are expected to go on floors next year. Another thriller and an action film might also be on the cards for Shahid.
