On Instagram, he emotionally shared a post about losing both his parents, saying, “My father left us yesterday afternoon. Seeing him depart was the second most painful day of my life, even more so because we couldn’t go. A pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, was planned together, as I had intended to go with him in a few days.”
Continuing, he wrote, “Today, I am lost and saddened without both my parents, and I just wish I could turn back time. I know Mom and Dad are watching over me, and I am the luckiest son in the world to have had both of you. May Allah grant my father forgiveness and a high place in Jannat Ul Firdaus. Ameen, remember in your prayers.”
