Hiten Tejwani and Rubina Dilaik are going to reunite after 11 years.
Actress and Bigg Boss 14 winner Rubina Dilaik is all set to make her big screen debut now. She has signed music composer Palash Muchhal’s directorial debut titled Ardh.
Rubina Dilaik is set to make her big-screen debut with the upcoming film “Ardh”. The project marks the directorial debut of music composer-singer Palaash Muchhal. It also features popular television actor Hiten Tejwani and “Hungama 2” actor Rajpal Yadav. Ardh will go on floors in September. Well, the actress who enjoys a massive fan following defeated 50 girls in the look test to bag the position in the film.
Yes, the director Palaash revealed that, “Besides, she came across very good in her look test. About 50 girls had undergone the look test before her. I didn’t audition her; I don’t audition female actors. Also, I must say that I recollected Rubina’s part in ‘Choti Bahu’ and decided on her after drawing inferences from it. Yes, I had seen her in ‘Bigg Boss 14’ too but didn’t see that show much, but many of my family members were avid watchers of it,” he said.
As the film will go on floor this september, Director of the film shared the poster of the upcoming film, which will mark his debut one too.
Sharing the poster on his social media, he wrote, “ARDH” with emoji that can be read as “Soon” As the name suggests, the poster shows half the faces of a woman and man.

Recently, in an interview with ETimes, Hiten Tejwani shared his excitement connect with Rubina again. “We worked in ‘Choti Bahu’ together and had a nice working equation. It will be nice to share screen space with her again.”
It’s been 11 years since ‘Choti Bahu’ and Hiten added, “We will be meeting after 11 years. We haven’t met after ‘Choti Bahu’ at all. We haven’t met yet while signing the film.”
Pavitra Rishta actor further said, “Rubina is easy to work with. I am also looking to work with Rajpal Yadav who is a wonderful actor. I almost immediately said yes to the film after hearing the story and my role. It’s a slice-of-life film.”
On Hiten Tejwani’s work front, he was last seen in the web series ‘Tandav’ and his last released film was ‘Ankahee’ which won the best film (Jury) award at Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival & Best Screenplay Award at the 8th edition of the Indian Cine Film Festival in 2020.
