Pathaan Tsunami Scares Shehzada: Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer film has been reportedly postponed by a week.
Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham starrer Pathaan, now in its sixth day on screens, continues to destroy the box office. The figures have surprised Bollywood fans and also have spread enthusiasm among the industry people. Pathaan’s success came as a shocker after multiple big budget films failed to pull audience to theatres. The SRK’s film also became highest opener on non-holiday and with no releases in it’s close proximity the business only grew.
Pathaan, would have got a challenger in name of Shehzada. The Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon film’s trailer was itself a huge success with more views than Pathaan Trailer in just few days. The T-series film was announced to release on 10th of February, but guess what? Shehzada has been delayed. Yes, you read that right. The Kartik Aaryan film has been postponed by a week and will now release on 17th February. As per BollywoodHungama, Kartik Aaryan feels unfair to release his film “just 2 weeks after Pathaan that’s doing so well for the film industry. Out of respect to Shah Rukh Khan, and the fact of both films eating on to each other’s business, Kartik and Shehzada producers have decided to delay the film by a week,”.

Pathaan box office collection is breaking records and Shehzada waiting for a space to be in cinemas is said to be a good move for Kartik-Kriti’s movie which is a remake of south fim Ala vaikuntapuram starring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde. Shehzada New Release Date is 17th February.
Talking about Pathaan’s box office run, The action-thriller has made over ₹ 500 crore gross worldwide – ₹ 542 crore, to be precise, reports trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
