Actress Vidisha Srivastava will now replace Neha Pendse in the show and will be seen in the role of Anita Bhabhi. Vidisha’s entry will be on 23 March in a special episode of 1 hour. Tiwari ji himself has announced the entry of the new Gori Mem on his Instagram handle.
Vidisha is a well-known face of the small screen and has been a part of many popular shows. But this is the first time for Vidisha to do a comedy show. Earlier, Vidisha has appeared in many shows like Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Meri Gudiya, Kahat Hanuman Jai Shri Ram. The more discussion about Vidisha’s entry in the show, the more discussion is being done about the fees charged by her for the show. It is being said that Vidisha is charging more fees for every episode than Angoori Bhabhi i.e. Shubhangi Atre. It is being said that earlier Neha and Soumya also used to get more fees than Shubhangi. Saumya’s fee has not been disclosed but Neha used to charge 55 thousand rupees per episode for the character of Anita Bhabhi and Vidisha will be paid the same.
