Shehzada box office day 1 collections: Shehzada is an official Hindi remake of the Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramloo which starred actor Allu Arjun in the lead role.
Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer Shehzada had a reasonable day at the box office. The film was aided by steady spot-bookings and a buy one get one offer floated by the makers of the film, helped the film gain the momentum it required to register a reasonable day at the box office. The film has managed to rake in around Rs. 7 crores nett on day 1 in India and this number is higher than what most trade pundits expected after a lukewarm response to the advance bookings of the film.
It will be critical for the film to see a strong growth over the weekend and if the film manages it, the momentum will carry forward to the weekdays, before it sees a new rival in the form of Selfiee next weekend. Shehzada box office day 1 collections
As per a report on early estimates, by trade insider Sacnilk, the film is expected to have collected ₹7 crore on day one. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh also shared figures from all prominent multiplex chains. “SHEHZADA NATIONAL CHAINS *DAY 1* STATUS… #Shehzada #PVR: 1.47 cr #INOX: 92 lacs #Cinepolis: 53 lacs Total: ₹ 2.92 cr,” he wrote.
The numbers are half of what Kartik’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 earned on it’s opening day. The film had earned nearly Rs. 14 cr.
On comparison, the week’s other release, Hollywood film Antman and The Wasp: Quantumania is doing better at ticket windows. “#AntMan PVR: 2.35 cr #INOX: 1.05 cr #Cinepolis: 75 lacs Total: ₹ 4.15 cr,” Taran Adarsh had tweeted earlier on Friday. The figures are expected to rise with the entire day’s collection. Also Read: Shraddha Arya and Surbhi Chandna’s Yellow Sarees To Help You Slay Your ‘Desi Girl’ Look
Shehzada Movie Hit Or Flop
Shehzaada faced stiff competition from the Hollywood biggie Ant-Man. Pathaan in its fourth week too posed good numbers on its 24th day, enough to sideline Shehzada. Given that Shehzaada was not the only option available for the audiences to choose from, the film did reasonably well for itself. The film needs to show strong legs from here and if it manages to do that, it will be great for the prospects of the film.
