We have observed in the past that various Bigg Boss contestants foray into film industry after the show’s conclusion. Shehnaaz Gill, Jasmin Bhasin, Gautam Gulati, Gauahar Khan, Rubina Dilaik, Hina Khan have made it big and bagged movie roles. Earlier, it was revealed that Priyanka Chahar Choudhary of Bigg Boss 16, has been offered a role in SRK’s Dunki. The latest to bag the huge offer is Shiv Thakare. Yes, you read that right.
Shiv Thakare, is one most popular name in the Indian Television world, thanks to his stint in Bigg Boss 16 house. The marathi star has won hearts with his personality and kind nature. His popularity on social media is just unmatchable and he trends all the time. Shiv has time and again talked about his dream to cast in a movie and guess what, it’s happening. Not Bollywood, but Shiv has been roped to play male lead in a big-budget Marathi film. Shiv Thakare Bags Mahesh Manjrekar’s Next Marathi Film
A little birdie close to the developement told us that, During his stint in Bigg Boss Marathi Season 2, Mahesh Manjrekar had promised him a role in his film, which was Vedant Marathe Veer Daudale Saat. But after lockdown, things changed and Shiv amicably decided to opt out of it to aim high. Shiv was looking forward to get an rigth offer for Bigg Boss 15 but it didn’t happened and he waited for the next season and got signed for Bigg Boss 16.
“Mahesh Manjrekar needs no introduction, the director-producer has a new romantic-action drama film in his kart and presently looking for leads and Shiv Thakare is the only name came in his mind and since the actor is in Bigg Boss house his team received the offer. Shiv has huge respect for Mahesh and he will definately won’t say no to this project”.
