In the recent interview, Hruta spoke very bluntly. “What makes you angry about the industry?”, she was asked.
She pointed out the practice of working for 12 to 13 hours continuously in the TV industry, especially in the serial world. She said, “Recently, 13 hours of work is done on the set. Actually the shift is 12 hours. If there is a shift of 9 in the morning, the actor is present on the set at half past eight. But that half hour is not counted. On the contrary, if there is a 9 to 9 shift, the work goes on till 10 o’clock. Despite working for so many hours, the upcoming episodes of the series are not being bankrolled.”
She also told about the solution she found for this. She said, “I have found my solution for this. I have decided to leave after working for 12 hours. In the series I did recently, I used to leave after 12 hours. So my name might have been defamed…”.
