Gautam Vig who got evicted from Bigg Boss 16 claims that some contestants of the show are being favoured by makers.
Bigg Boss 16 is leaving no stone unturned to surprise the show’s fans. This season is no similar to the past seasons and BB fans have already missing the OG things of the show. The constant guidance from outside and Bigg Boss’ interferance in the game has made fans question the authenticity of the season. Many social media users are calling out the makers for their favoritism towards one and more contestants and now evicted contestant of this season, Gautam Vig has also raised concern about the same.
In his recent interview, Gautam Vig said that not just Sajid Khan but some other contestants including Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia are also being favored. “Honestly, it is not with Sajid only, it is with other contestants also. Favouritism towards Sajid is more prominent, that’s what people believe but it is with other contestants too including Sumbul or Nimrit,” Gautam told News18.

Gautam feels that Sumbul Touqeer Khan, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Sajid Khan are being constantly explained the game and are asked to be original by BB multiple times. He also revealed that he was never guided or given any clue whether he was weak in the game but to some contestants they are actually being indirectly supported in the game show. “It is not like they (makers) are biased towards him but I feel favouritism is definitely there. There are so many things happening inside the Bigg Boss house. They are being explained. Sumbul, Nimrit and Sajid are asked to be original. I don’t know what’s the strategy behind. I don’t know. There were no lessons shared with me in seven weeks. No one guided me. No one said anything to me in seven weeks. If my game was weak, nobody told me about it. There are some people who, if they are not visible, are indirectly explained that this is what they are doing,” the actor further added. Gautam also said that his eviction wasn’t fair and believes that there are still undeserving contestants in the house who could have evicted early.
The Pinjara Khubsurati Ka actor went on to say that he wasn’t happy with his eviction because he thinks that people who don’t deserve to be in the show are still inside the BB house. “Of course, I wasn’t happy with my eviction because I didn’t deserve to be out. People who are still inside the house are not supposed to be there. But it’s okay. If that’s called favouritism, let it be. They say that it is a reality show and ask all not to ‘act’ in the show but that is what is happening,” Gautam shared. Meanwhile, there are reports that Sajid Khan has signed a contract which assures his position in Top 6. Makers are also looking for wild-cards and reportedly the discussion is on currently.
