Ananya Panday has asked her team to reschedule her shoots and endorsements for the next few days. Panday was summoned by the NCB in connection with the Mumbai cruise drugs case today, October 21.
According to report in India Today, Actress Ananya Panday, who has been summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), has asked her team to reschedule her shoots and endorsements for the next few days. The actress thinks that she might be called by the NCB officials again for questioning in connection with the drugs case on the basis of chats found on Shah Rukh Khan‘s son Aryan Khan‘s mobile phone. The ‘Khaali Peeli’ actress has reached the NCB office in Mumbai for questioning in connection with the drugs case. Since the questioning can stretch to 2-3 days, she has asked her team to reschedule her shoots and endorsements for the next few days. The actress is currently in talks for 3-4 films, which are scheduled to release in 2022-23. Ananya Panday was to shoot for an endorsement in the next few days. The shoot has been put on hold after an NCB team reached her residence in Mumbai today, October 21.
Earlier today, The NCB was captured leaving Ananya’s house with several bags in their possession. So far, the agency hasn’t made a statement on what was recovered from the house.
Bollywood is under the scanner of the NCB since the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. The investigation agency had earlier arrested Actress Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty after filing a drugs case against them. The two were later released on bail after serving some time in jail. The agency has so far questioned big names from the film fraternity such as Deepika Padukone, Arjun Rampal, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and Shraddha Kapoor.
