Actor Manoj Bajpayee has filed a criminal defamation case against against Bigg Boss fame Kamaal R Khan, for posting tweets that allegedly tarnished his image. KRK has taunted Salman Khan after Bajpayee filed a case against him. He has called Salman ‘dadu ji’ and also slammed Manoj.
Manoj Bajpayee has filed a criminal defamation complaint against Kamaal R Khan at a court in Indore. The actor has taken action following a derogatory tweet by KRK and according to PTI, he has filed a criminal complaint in the court of judicial magistrate first class (JMFC) under IPC section 500 (punishment for defamation). The tweet in question was posted by KRK on July 26 and was defamatory in nature, and tarnished the actor’s image among his fans, the lawyer said. KRK, in a series of tweets, had compared Manoj’s hit show The Family Man to ‘soft porn’ and had also commented on his wife, and about his daughter’s relationship status. In his tweets, KRK had called the actor a ‘ganjedi (stoner)’, among other things. KRK, seemingly in response to the complaint, Kamaal R Khan tweeted, “I haven’t received any notice till now but media says that Manoj Bajpayee has filed a defamation case against me in Indore? When Manoj is living in Mumbai then why he went to Indore to file a case? He doesn’t trust @MumbaiPolice and judiciary? You all know who is from Indore?”
“And who asked Manoj to file case from Indore to harass me instead of Mumbai. Dadu ji you can’t save your career by harassing me. You are making entire Bollywood to gang up against me to stop me from reviewing your films but it won’t work. I will still review your all films,” he tweeted.
KRK was sent a defamation notice by Salman Khan earlier this year. While KRK has claimed it is in retaliation for his unfavourable review of Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, Salman’s lawyers maintained it is in response to allegations of corruption and money laundering.
Post Salman Khan’s case, KRK deleted all the videos he made about the star. He had tweeted about the same and said, “Dear @BeingSalmanKhan I have voluntarily removed all my videos about you coz I don’t want to hurt you or anybody else. I will continue fighting case against you in the court. I will only review your future films if I will get permission from the court. All the best for future.”
