Kriti Sanon rubbishes rumours of her dating Prabhas. She said that it was a fun banter with Bhediya co-star Varun Dhawan and nothing else.
Om Raut’s magnus-opus Adipurush have made a lot of buzz and for all the wrong reasons. The VFX irked fans and the film was postponed, around the same time there was news about Kriti Sanon and Prabhas being more than co-stars. The rumour was spread like a wildfire but it soon stopped as neither of them react to it. But, now Varun Dhawan hinted that the two were dating on a dance reality show. Speculation did the rounds that the couple would get engaged after Film’s release.
Recently, on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Finale, Varun Dhawan, while speaking to Karan Johar, hinted that Kriti Sanon is dating Pan-India star Prabhas. This went crazy viral on social media and many portals started speculating on their wedding date. However, the Mimi actress has decided to put a full stop to the rumours. However, Kriti took to her Instagram stories to dismiss rumours about her relationship with Prabhas. She wrote that Varun and her had fun banter on the show and called the dating rumours ‘absolutely baseless.’
She took to her Instagram stories and wrote, “It’s neither pyaar, nor PR…our Bhediya just went a little too wild on a reality show. And his fun banter lead to some Howl-arious rumours. Before some portal announces my wedding date – let me burst your bubble. The rumours are ABSOLUTELY baseless (sic),” with a Fake News sticker. Varun Hinted at Kriti-Prabhas Relationship
On the show, Varun Dhawan and KJo did a separate segment. Karan asked Varun why Kriti’s name was missing in the list. The October actor said, “Kriti ka naam isiliye nahi tha kyunki Kriti ka naam…” Kriti intervened and tried to stop him. However, Varun continued and said, “kisi ke dil me hai.” When Karan asked him to take a name, he said, “Ek aadmi hai jo Mumbai me nahi hai, vo iss waqt shooting kar raha hai Deepika (Padukone) ke saath.”

On the work front, Prabhas and Kriti’s Adipurush will hit the theatres in June 2023. Due to massive backlash about the poor animation, the makers have decided to spend more time and re-work on the VFX.
