Shilpa Shinde who is the latest confirmed celebrity participant of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 talks about her reason of joining the show.
Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is one of the most popular dance reality shows, is all set to return to television after a gap of 6 years. And, the show is currently making headlines owing to the list of contestants. Many popular TV celebs like Nia Sharma, Niti Taylor, Hina Khan, and ace cricketers like Harbhajan Singh, and Suresh Raina are likely to participate in this 10th season of the show. Now, the latest name that has added to the confirmed contestants’ list is, Bigg Boss 11 winner and actress Shilpa Shinde. Yes, you read that right!
The actress will be showcasing her stunning dance moves on the reality show. An Etimes TV report stated that Shilpa has replaced ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai’ actress Shubhangi Atre on the dance reality show. Not to forget, Shubhangi had earlier replaced SS for the role of Angoori Bhabi in the popular sitcom ‘Bhabiji and in ‘Chidiya Ghar’. It is being said that Shubhangi Atre was approached for Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 and she was keen to take it up but due to her injury she choose to opt-out of the show. Now, Shilpa has opened up about her participation in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 and revealed she’s a non-dancer yet very excited to perform in front of audience.

The former Bigg Boss winner shared, “Bigg Boss was a milestone in my career, and I hope that Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa will also be a great experience for me. I am really excited to again associate with COLORS. My fans eagerly anticipated my return to television after my stint on Bigg Boss, and they are the reason why I am doing this show. I know that they will be excited to see me back on television and what better show to entertain them than Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. I am a non-dancer and performing in front of an audience is something that I am looking forward to. This is a big platform and I hope that I live up to the expectations of my fans and entertain them till the end of the show.” she told India Forums. Other names doing the rounds for the show are Anupama fame Paras Kalnawat, Amruta Khanvilkar, Dheeraj Dhoopar, and Gashmeer Mahajani. The show will be hosted by Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar, and Nora Fateh. Comedy queen Bharti Singh is expected to host the show.

Meanwhile, CINTAA and Indian Films and TV producers’ council (IFTPC) had reportedly banned Shilpa Shinde from working on any other show after she quit Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai. Shilpa Shinde has filed a complaint against CINTAA for the apparent ban on her. But later it was clarified the the film & TV association never banned the actress. Shilpa, however, said in one of her interviews that she did not want to return to small screen. “I don’t want to return to small screen. They wouldn’t need to ban me, as I am only banning them,” she told TellyChakkar. Also
