Indian Idol 12 Finale: Reena Roy Who Recently appeared on Indian Idol 12 Called Jeetendra ‘The Most Punctual Actor’ and Better Than Amitabh bachchan.
With the stage set for the Indian Idol 12 finale, the pre-final episodes are really whetting up the appetite. Veteran Actress Reena Roy and disco king Bappi Lahiri recently appeared as special guests on singing based reality-show “Indian Idol 12“.
Contestant Danish Khan light up the stage with one of Reena’s memorable song “Aadmi musafir hai aata hai jata hai”.
After his performance, the actress shared a few insightful anecdotes from her shooting days. She congratulated Danish for singing the song beautifully and wished him to keep up the good work. Reena said that Danish’s rendition took her to the old days and she recollected how this song was shot in Kashmir and the crew members stayed in the city for a month to complete the shoot. She spoke about the punctuality of Jeetendra and how her co-actor in most of the films with Late Jay Om Prakash Films was very punctual.
Reena Roy said: “You have sung this song beautifully, Danish. Keep up with the good work. Your singing took me back to those good old days. This particular song was shot in Kashmir and all of us, including the crew members, stayed in the city for a month to complete the shoot. Back then, most of the crew brought their kids along to the sets and post the pack up, we gathered together and played games and finished our dinner by 7.30 in the evening.”
Reena Roy talked about the punctuality of Jeetendra: “Jeetendra has been my co-actor in most of the films with Late Jay Om Prakash Films. Believe me, when I say that I have never seen any actor, even Amitabh Bachchan being as punctual as Jeetendra. I still remember, if we ever had an early morning shoot, Jeetu used to call everyone at 5 am and he made sure that we all got ready for the shoot as quickly as possible.
“So much so, that a lot of times, we ended up completing the shoot way before the schedule itself. Jeetu has always been a pleasure to work with and I admire his extraordinary energy and zeal of motivation that he continues to inspire us with,” she added.

Meanwhile, Indian 12 proved to be a superhit season just like the previous ones. The upcoming episode will see the presence of the greatest melody queen and singing maestro Asha Bhosle. The veteran singer has not only lent her voice for Hindi films but also for pop music, gazals, bhajans and even traditional music.
According to latest reports, the finale episode of this season will be of 12 hours which in itself will be a kind of record. Moreover, even before the finale, singers like ShanmukhaPriya and Arunita Kanjilal have been offered music contracts by Mary Kom and Sarabjit fame director Omung Kumar and Bappi Lahiri respectively.
