The actress, known for her roles in acclaimed projects like “Made in Heaven” and “Raman Raghav 2.0,” opened up about her views on beauty standards and how she navigates comments on her skin tone.

Expressing her perspective, Dhulipala asserted that she finds a slightly dusky complexion exceptionally attractive. In a society grappling with ingrained preferences, she acknowledged the possible influence of a colonial hangover on the perception of lighter skin. Undeterred by societal norms, Sobhita emphasized the diversity of beauty, stating, “There’s all kinds of skin colour across the spectrum. And I don’t think it has really bothered me to make me feel diminished.”
The actress passionately advocated for self-confidence, emphasizing its paramount importance. She noted that no matter the efforts one puts into altering their appearance, true confidence stems from a strong inner voice. “How we look is only one part of who we are,” she remarked, highlighting the significance of embracing one’s identity beyond physical attributes. Wo unka opinion hai. Mai usse apni kami ki tarah nahi samajhti” (That’s their opinion. I don’t consider it as my deficiency).
