Uttaran Actor Ayub Khan in Financial Trouble: “I am down to the last little pennies now”

In a recent interview, actor Ayub Khan has expressed his fear that if the continued Covid situation doesn’t improve, he’d haven’t any other option but to seem out for help.

Actor Ayub Khan, best known for portraying the role of Jogi Thakur in television program Uttaran, opened about handling a financial crunch as Maharashtra went into temporary lockdown mode again. chatting with Times Now Digital, the 53-year-old actor revealed he hasn’t had any add the last one-and-a-half years and is spending his savings judiciously.

Fearing another lockdown, the actor said: “We and other people are going through difficult times, but God forbid there’s not getting to be a lockdown. If God forbid, I have to sit back for another year-and-a-half or whatever then I will definitely have a big problem on my hand. We are not spending too much as we have to be careful about it.”

pertaining to last year’s nationwide lockdown, the actor added: “If there will be a lockdown for a year, it will be a disastrous situation,” reported Times Now.

Also, in an interview with Hindustan Times, the 53-year-old actor talked about facing the financial crunch during Covid and said that he has not earned any money since the last one and a half years, and he’s right down to the last little pennies now. HT quoted him as saying, “I haven’t earned any money since the last one and a half year, and am down to the last little pennies now.”

As India battles the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, Maharashtra has clothed to be the worst-hit state. Film and television shoots are cancelled in Mumbai as Maharashtra government has imposed a 15-day lockdown from Pan American Day. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is predicted to form an announcement a few strict lockdown within the upcoming days.

The actor also expressed his fear that if the continued Covid situation doesn’t improve and work doesn’t revisit on target soon, he’d haven’t any other option but to seem out for help. “You can’t do anything. You just have to make do with whatever you have. And, God forbid, if things go from bad to worse, one will have to put out a hand for help. What else can you do?” Ayub added.

Ayub Khan is known for starring in TV shows like Uttaran, Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna, Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein and Apharan, among others. He has also featured in films like LOC: Kargil, Gangaajal, Dil Chahta Hai and Mela.
