Urmila Matondkar Opened Up About The Debate Surrounding Sob Stories On TV Reality Shows- DID Super Moms Season 3
Urmila Matondkar is now set to join the judges’ panel on DID Super Moms Season 3. In a recent interview, the ‘Ajoba’ actress opened up about the debate surrounding sob stories on Indian television reality shows.
The actress was asked about the backlash the reality shows face for promoting the sob stories of contestants on the reality shows. To which, Urmila said that while she doesn’t know about other reality shows, in her dance show, they will show their contestants’ journeys. She stressed that this is done so people know the hard work and effort they have put in to be a part of the show. Also Read: Ranbir Kapoor Goes On His Knees For Shraddha Kapoor, Watch Leaked Video
“I don’t know about other reality shows but with this show what we are trying to do is we are going to show stories of the contestants because without that we won’t be able to show their journeys. And why not? People should know their journey and the hard work they have put in,” she told ETimes.
The actress, however, added that the contestants on DID Super Moms Season 3 have gone ahead because of their talent and not their stories. Also Read: Khatron Ke Khiladi 12: Kanika Mann & Nishant Bhat Badly Bruised During Shoot, Fans Are Worried

“So if you get to see contestants with a very emotional background in the show, their stories are not the reason why they have succeeded or gone ahead in the show,” she said, adding that they have made sure only those who are talented enough go the mile.
