Tu Jhoothi Mein Makkar Box Office Collection Day 1: Starring Shraddha Kapoor and Ranbir kapoor in lead roles, the film brings back the genre of fun-filled romantic comedy in Bollywood after a long time.
Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar has hit theatres today on the occassion of Holi, March 8. The film has got the right amount of buzz and excitement among audiences and is expected to take a good start at the box office, Before getting to the part that matters, it is to be noted that this genre doesn’t have many takers on the face of it in today’s time, and the last rom-com that did a business of over Rs 100 crores was Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, again directed by Luv Ranjan. As per early estimates, the TJMM is set to rake in Rs 14 to Rs 16 crore on Day 1 at the box office.
That said, the collections are only expected to get stronger late afternoon and early evening to give the film a good start at the box office. With an extended festive weekend, it remains to see how well the film can perform.
If it does manage to rake in the big bucks, it will be a second consecutive box office win for RK, who was last seen in the smash hit ‘Brahmastra’ that went on to score over Rs 400 crore at the box office last year. Also Read: Sara Ali Khan Looks Red HOT Co-Ord Set
