Sushant Singh Rajput‘s roommate Siddharth Pithani has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) nearly a year after the actor’s death in Mumbai, which is being investigated by multiple agencies. Siddharth Pithani was among the four people present at Sushant Singh Rajput’s range in Mumbai when he was found hanging in his room on june 14. He was reportedly arrested by the anti-drugs agency in Hyderabad this morning.
Mr Pithani was questioned multiple times by the Mumbai police and also the CBI in reference to the death that captivated the nation, triggered many conspiracy theories and led to a big divide in the Mumbai movie industry.

The Narcotics Control Bureau stepped into the case after WhatsApp chats found on Rhea Chakraborty’s phone revealed texts involving the buying of drugs for the actor.
An IT professional, Mr Pithani had told various news channels about the actor’s last moments and he was grilled by various agencies over his version.
Mr Pithani, reportedly nicknamed “Buddha” by Sushant Rajput, had been living with him for a couple of year before his death. His allegations fed media frenzy and speculation in the days and weeks after the actor’s shocking death.
He was questioned over half a dozen times by the CBI in September last.
