Suniel Shetty lives in a building named ”Prithvi Apartments” in South Mumbai’s Altamount Road. BMC has sealed the building due to five cases of Coronavirus in that building.
Ever since reports of Suniel Shetty’s residence being sealed after Covid cases, came out this morning Suniel has been flooded with anxious messages and calls.
The report claimed that three patients with the delta variant of COVID-19 have been found in his building which is why it has been sealed. However, rubbing these reports as fake, Suniel tweeted saying, “Wow! Must say that fake news spreads quicker than any virus. People, pls don’t spread panic. There’s NO ‘Delta Variant’ in my building society. Just one COVID+ case & the patient is recuperating at Breach Candy hospital.”
The others are currently negative & self quarantined. My building is safe and the family is fine. One wing has a notice up but NOT the entire building sealed as being misreported. My mother, my wife Mana, #Ahan, #Athiya & my staff; as well as the entire Bldg are fine & thank U for your good wishes. Sorry folks no #DELTA”
Also according to reports in IWMBUZZ.COM, Sunil shetty told the portal, “What has the media made it out to be ?! We are not even home. My children Athiya and Ahan are in London. My wife and I not at home either. The reports have gone berserk . Only one home in one of the wings in our residential colony has reported a Covid case. Such a big issue being made of it, I don’t understand.”
Suniel’s son Ahan Shetty is getting ready for his Bollywood debut in 2022 with producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s Tadap. Ahan is said to have the action genes of his father, plus the impressive acting chops which will make him the most complete action hero in recent times. Earlier there were also reports of Ahan is roped in to play lead role in ‘Aashiqui 3’, But there’s now confirmation on the same yet.
Suniel Shetty‘s daughter Athiya is rumoured to be dating cricketer K L Rahul. When last year a cocky journalist made bold to ask Suniel about it Suniel tossed back a classic rejoinder: “I am not having the relationship. You will have to ask Athiya.You come and tell me if it is true, then we will talk about it. You don’t know, how can you ask me then.”
