Shraddha Kapoor has confirmed Stree 2 soon after she made an appearance in Bhediya song Thumkeshwari.
Shraddha Kapoor who made a special appearance in Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon’s song ‘Thumkeshwari’ from their upcoming film Bhediya, has hinted that she will be back with the second installment of the horror comedy film Stree (2018).
Shraddha makes a sizzling special appearance in ‘Thumkeshwari’, talking about her appearance, the actress said: “Guess who’s back? ‘Thumkeshwari’ just gives you a little sneak peek that I’m coming back. Stree is back! It’s a super vibe. It’s so nice to be back on set with Bhediya…It’s so exciting for me because we’re going to start Stree 2 very soon.”

Directed by Amar Kaushik, Bhediya is produced by Dinesh Vijan stars Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon along with Deepak Dobriyal and Abhishek Banerjee releases in cinemas Pan-India in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil in 2D and 3D on November 25.
Coming back to Stree, Shraddha Kapoor & Rajkummar Rao are all set to reunite and start shooting for the sequel in 2023. If a report by Pinkvilla is something to go by, then Stree 2 will start rolling early next year. Quoting a source close to the development, the report stated, “Amar [Kaushik] and his team of writers have been working on the script of Stree 2 for a while now, and they have finally locked a subject that takes forward the legacy of the first part.”
The source further elaborated, “They are well aware of all the expectations and hence, despite pressures from all ends to make a sequel, were in no hurry to make Stree 2. The script has shaped up well and the team is now all set to take the film on floors early next year.”
