Sheezan Khan’s sister Falaq Naaz & his mother attended the funeral of Tunisha Sharma who died by suicide on Saturday on the sets of her show Ali Baba: Daastan-E-Kabul.
Television actress Tunisha Sharma’s last rites were performed by her family members on Tuesday. Apart from friends, family members, and colleagues from the film and TV industry, Sheezan M Khan’s sister Falak Naaz and mother were also present during the actor’s funeral.
For the unversed, Sheezan Khan, based on a police complaint filed by Tunisha’s mother, has been charged with abetment of suicide under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). In one video from the funeral, Sheezan’s sister Falaq Naaz is seen breaking down inconsolably while in another, his mother is seen mourning the actress’ death.

Meanwhile, Sheezan’s sisters have shared an official statement and said, “Accusations have been levelled against Sheezan and the police are investigating the case. Let police take the call. We have complete faith in the Indian judiciary system and hope the truth shall triumph. Also, please do not take our silence for weakness; We will speak soon when the time is right. Tunisha Sharma Suicide Case
After the Tunisha’s death, Sheezan was arrested by the Mumbai Police and sent to four-day judicial custody following Tunisha’s mother’s complaint in which she accused him of abetting her daughter’s suicide. The police are investigating the case from all angles – suicide, murder, and accidental death. In his official statement to the media on Sunday, they cited the post-mortem report and confirmed that Tunisha died of suffocation.
