Shamita Shetty has quashed all the rumours about their split. The Mohabbatein actress has confirmed that she and Raqesh Bapat are together and one shouldn’t pay heed to the conjecture about their breakup.
The 43-year-old actress, while talking to a Hindustan Times, revealed if the rumours affected her relationship with Raqesh. Addressing the fan’s constant attention on their personal life, she said that it puts pressure on people as they feel the need to explain themselves. “Unfortunately, my entire relationship has been out there because we were on a public platform for quite some time. We did create a certain amount of fan following, and our fans love to see us together. But yes, it’s [the attention] tough. It puts a lot of pressure on two people in a relationship, because you feel like you are constantly explaining yourself,” Shamita told Hindustan Times. Shamita further stated that Raqesh and her family members have to face trolling on social media. Calling it ‘avoidable’, she hoped that people would respect others and not ‘hit below the belt’.
