During the recent episode of ‘Indian Idol 12’, contestant Sawai Bhatt faced criticism from judges Himesh Reshammiya and Vishal Dadlani as he kept forgetting lyrics of the song he was singing.
The competition is heating up in Indian Idol 12. The singing reality show are going to be seeing eliminations from this weekend as judges still score the contestants and audience votes for his or her favourite singers to stay them in.
In the recent episode, producer Ekta Kapoor and Jeetendra arrived on the sets. Ekta’s new show The wife has launched on OTT and she or he spoke about it intimately. Jeetendra too joined her as they encouraged the contestants by praising them for his or her performances.
However, contestant Sawai Bhatt was stopped midway as he performed to Haal Kya Hai Dilon Ka song, which was originally picturised on Jeetendra. the rationale why Himesh Reshammiya and Vishal Dadlani interrupted while he performed was that he kept forgetting the lyrics of the song. the 2 judges gave Sawai a chance to start out again from the highest but he forgot lyrics during his second run also. When it came to commenting on Sawai’s performance, Himesh and Vishal said that if it were to them then Sawai would be facing the danger of elimination. They insisted the audience vote for him in order that he continues to stay within the show.

After his performance ended, Ekta said that the song is a favourite of hers and her father’s and encouraged Sawai by saying that mistakes happen all the time and he should learn from them rather than beating himself over it.
