Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is getting his own documentary which will chronicle his journey to stardom, It will also feature some of the biggest stars.
Salman Khan is a name that needs no introduction. And if fans were already not aware of his journey in Bollywood, they will soon get to see a documentary that is being on their favourite star. Yes, it’s true! A documentary on Salman Khan is in the works and it is set to feature some of the biggest names in Bollywood. As per report in Pinkvilla, the upcoming documentary will follow a docu-series format. A source close to its development told the portal that the idea behind the series is to tell Salman Khan’s story from the time he ventured into Bollywood to how he achieved “superstardom”. It will reveal some of the lesser-known facts about the actor. The docu-series will also feature all the people who have played a major role in making him the star that he is, this includes his family members, his co-stars as well as filmmakers. The docu-series will also be releasing on an OTT platform, talks for which are currently underway.
What’s interesting to know is that while Salman Khan is getting a documentary of his own, so is his father, Salim Khan. In fact, the actor has joined hands with Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar for a docu-drama that tells the story of their fathers, Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar. Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan is currently filming Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif. The two are in Austria to shoot some scenes for the upcoming film. Apart from that, Salman Khan also has Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali in the pipeline, shooting for which is expected to commence soon.
