The shocking news of Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat‘s unfortunate death in a chopper crash left the whole nation in shock on Wednesday afternoon. General Rawat, his wife and 11 other occupants of an IAF military helicopter died after the chopper crashed near Coonoor in Tamil Nadu’s Nilgiri district.
Among political leaders and others, Bollywood actors and film personalities also took o their social media handles to condole the death of Chief of Defence Staff Gen Bipin Rawat in the tragic helicopter crash.
Kangana Ranaut, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Salman Khan, Sidharth Malhotra and Anil Kapoor and others paid tribute to CDS General Bipin Rawat. India’s Chief of Defence Staff Gen Bipin Rawat and his wife Madhulika Rawat succumbed to injuries on Wednesday after an IAF Mi-17 V5 helicopter carrying 13 crashed in Tamil Nadu’s Coonoor. All communications with the chopper were lost just before the crash between Coimbatore and Sulur in Tamil Nadu. 63-year-old Rawat along with his wife and his staff was travelling to Wellington Staff College to deliver a lecture at 2:45 PM. One person survived the crash, Group Captain Varun Singh SC.
