As per a report in ETimes, following Salman’s January show, which was a part of the Da-Bangg tour, being cancelled due to last moment venue issues, it was rescheduled for April. However, news of life threats that the superstar received from Lawrence Bishnoi and gang over email, cast a doubt over his Kolkata show. Sources claimed that Salman’s Kolkata show, which also features Sonakshi Sinha, Jacqueline Fernandez, Prabhu Deva, Ayush Sharma, and Guru Randhawa, is set to be cancelled over security concerns.
However, as per latest reports, the show’s organisers have maintained that the performance will happen as planned.

“Who is spreading these baseless rumours? The show is happening in May-June and not in April. Salman Khan’s team was here in Kolkata in November and December to fix all the nitty gritty of the tour. On Monday I spoke to his team and the only problem they’re facing is over Jacqueline Fernandez’s date which we’re working on. We will announce the date of the show very soon. The show will happen hopefully in one of the biggest playgrounds in Kolkata” Rajdeep Chakraborty, one of the organisers of the show, was quoted as saying. Also Read: Best Bollywood Thriller Movies
Rajdeep added that he West Bengal government and the top police authorities are helping organisers in all possible ways so that everything is in place. “But we can’t disclose the measures we will be taking for his security. All I can say is everything will be taken care of rightfully,” he added.
