Controversy queen Rakhi Sawant has been arrested by Mumbai’s Amboli Police on Sherlyn Chopra’s FIR. Sherlyn herself has shared the news on her social media account Twitter. Along with this, in a conversation with media Sherlyn told that,”I have always raised my voice against sexual harassment. In this matter, without thinking anything, Rakhi intervened and started speaking anything. Rakhi has also shown some of my videos and photos to paparazzi. Rakhi had also lied about me being arrested in Alibaug.”
Talking further, Sherlyn said- Our constitution does not allow us to fling someone’s honor. Police should have taken Rakhi in custody last month. On the other hand, talking about Rakhi’s dance academy opening, Sherlyn said that whatever she wants to do, she should come out of jail and do it. Rakhi is constantly trying to take bail, although I will not let her take it. She has been leveled with such serious allegations that he will not be able to get bail easily at all. Rakhi Sawant Arrested After Sherlyn’c Complaint
According to media reports, Mumbai Police will present Rakhi in Andheri court after some time. Last year, Bigg Boss fame had lashed out at Sherlyn Chopra for her statement against #MeToo accused Sajid Khan. After recording her statement against Bigg Boss 16 fame Sajid Khan on October 29, Sherlyn spoke to the media and alleged that Salman Khan was protecting the filmmaker.
However, Rakhi defended Sajid as she lambasted Sherlyn for her statement. Talking to the mediapersons, Rakhi said that the police knew which complaint has merit and which does not. Later, Sherlyn filed a complaint against Rakhi for alleged defamation.
