Gehana Vasisth was arrested in February 2021 and was imprisoned for nearly four months.

In an exclusive conversation with India Today on Saturday, Gehana Vasisth said police demanded her to pay Rs 15 lakh. “They wanted to take Rs 15 lakh to release me. The actress also cited a WhatsApp chat between two accused in the case, identified as Yash Thakur alias Arvindkumar Shrivastava and Tanveer Hashmi.

Gehana Vasisth said the chat shows the two arranging for Rs 8 lakh. “That’s because the police had demanded money,” Gehana Vasisth said.

On the Mumbai crime branch lodging a fresh FIR in connection with a pornography case against her, actress Gehana Vasisth claimed that the complainant had acted in two to three adult videos. “How is it possible that she was forced multiple times by different people and paid for it?” Gehana Vasisth asked.
