Priyanka Chahar Choudhary talked about her exit from Udaariyaan and also revealed what he thinks about the upcoming generation leap in the show.
Udaariyaan is set for a generation leap. After the leap, Ankit Gupta and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary won’t be seen on the show. Their characters will be killed on the show and the story will move forward with their daughters in focus. The official Instagram handle of Colors TV shared the latest promo of Udaariyaan, which features Ankit and Priyanka along with the show’s new actors, Twinkle Arora and Sonakshi Batra.
In a recent interview Priyanka Chahar Choudhary was asked about her initial thoughts after learning about the show taking a generation leap. She said, “Well, yes, as you’ll know, the show is set for a generation leap and that’s why Ankit and I will no longer be a part of the show. When I first learned about it, I was fine with it. I believed that it’s a part and parcel of an actors’ life. But now when I look at the promo, it has finally started to sink in that we won’t be a part of the show anymore and it’s of course an emotional feeling because I’m quite connected and close to the character of Tejo. I have seen the promo at least a hundred times, because probably it can be the last promo of Tejo”. She told IndiaForums. The actress also thanked show’s producer Ravi Dube and Sargun Mehta and revealed the show will always be special to her, “I’d like to thank Ravi and Sargun for believing in me and giving me ‘Udaariyaan’. It will always be special to me and will always remain close to my heart. I’ve got a lot of exposure because of the show and it has been an enriching experience so far”. she further added.
Meanwhile, Currently, the track of the show revolves around Nehmat and Naaz knowing about their truth. Nehmat has accepted Fateh and Tejo as her parents while Naaz is also happy re-uniting with her maasi.
