Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Shyam Pathak who essays the role of Popatlal in the popular sitcome recently confirmed that his character will soon get married in the show.
Whether Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Popatlal Pandey will get married or not is the biggest mystery after the Bermuda Triangle. The man has been on a hunt for a bride since what looks like the ages of yore, and he has literally taken refuge under a wig now (pun intended). While his antiques and the multiple brides that have entered the show through him have been entertaining, and turns out there is one more. The actor who plays the role has now confirmed that ‘Mrs Popatlal will soon enter the show’. yes you read that right.
The TMKOC makers recently introduced Sachin Shroff as the series’ replacement for old Taarak aka Shailesh Lodha. And now, Shyam Pathak, who plays the role of Popatlal in the show, spoke with the media recently and said that there could be entry of Mrs Popatlal soon. In the video, Shyam reveals that very soon Mrs Popatlal will arrive in the Golkuldham society and he won’t feel alone anymore.
He says “Naye Naye kirdaar aanewale hain toh usmein sabse ahem joh hain voh hain Mrs Popatlal, ye mein bata deta hoon aap logon ko. Aur hamara purush mandal joh hai kuch dino se thoda sa Abdul shop pe khaas karke hum log milte the roz raat ko toh thodha akela mehsoos kartey they toh ab hamarey Mehta saab kaam se kam vapas laut aaye hain toh bade maze karengey aur achi aur positive feeling ke saath aapko hassatey rahegey.” He further added “Jaise hum aapko haasatey they bilkul ussi tara entertain karegey aur kahaani ko aagey badhaygey.”
