The wait is over! The much awaited television show Pavitra Rishta 2 has started the shoot. The Ekta Kapoor’s show, along with Ankita Lokhande and Shaheer Sheikh, Randeep Rai and Asheema Vardhan have also joined the show. The two would be playing pivotal roles in the digital version of popular show.
Pavitra Rishta Starring Ankita Lokhande, Sushant Singh Rajput, Usha Nadkarni and others, the daily soap gained much popularity for the simple storytelling, and performances. Pavitra Rishta 2 went on floors today. Ankita will continue playing the role of Archana whereas Shaheer Sheikh will essay role of Manav.
Pavitra Rishta 2 will premiere on ALT Balaji. The Digital platform shared some pictures revealing the look of the actors. Sharing pictures from the set On their social media handle, ALT Balaji’s team wrote, “Sometimes in most ordinary lives, we find the most extraordinary love stories! Witness the extraordinary love story of Manav and Archana.”
Ankita Lokahnde, Shaheer Sheikh Starts Shooting For Pavitra Rishta 2
Ankita Lokhande’s character Archana looks as simple as it was in the television show. Ankita will be back to play Archana again after 7 long years.
Randeep Rai who was last seen in Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hai will play Manav’s (Shaheer Sheikh) younger brother whereas Dev DD actress Asheema Vardhan will play his girlfriend in pavitra rishta 2.
Manav’s mother played by veteran marathi actress usha nadkarni, will again essayed by her on the show.
According to reports, Marathi actress Suchitra Bandekar will be playing Ankita aka Archana’s mother. However, she is yet to confirm the same.

Talking about Pavitra Rishta, the show that began in 2009 entertained viewers with 1500 episodes . Late Sushant Singh Rajput, quit the show in 2011 and senior actor Hiten Tejwani stepped into his shoes to play the lead role for 3 years, the show went off air in 2014.
