Ankita Lokhande hosted a special prayer at home on the eve of Sushant Singh Rajput 1st death anniversary.
Ahead of Sushant Singh Rajput‘s 1st death anniversary on June 14, 2021, Ankita Lokhande hosted a special prayer at her home. She shared a video on her Instagram stories where a glimpse of a prayer set-up was visible. Although Ankita’s face wasn’t visible in the video, someone was visible in the video setting up the pooja. Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra, Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020.
Although Ankita Lokhande wasn’t visible in the video, a person was seen setting up the holy fire and preparing for the prayers. Ankita shared the video with chants of ‘Om’ playing in the background.
Ankita Lokhande recently remembered Sushant Singh Rajput by reminiscing over their TV show together, Pavitra Rishta. She played the lead character of Archana opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. Ahead of Sushant’s first death anniversary, she posted two monochromatic videos from the show featuring her as Archana from Pavitra Rishta. While the first clip has song from Parineeta, Piyu Bole, playing in the backdrop, the second video has Pavitra Rishta’s signature theme music.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Bandra home on June 14. The actor, who was 34, and was dating Rhea Chakraborty then. Ankita Lokhande was Sushant Singh Rajput’s former girlfriend. They parted ways after six years in 2016. Sushant Singh Rajput’s death was initially ruled a suicide by the Mumbai Police. But, it is currently being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
