Nisha Rawal is the first confirmed contestant of Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming show Lock Upp on ALT Balaji. The actress has been jailed for her controversial fights inside the show.
Popular television actress and Karan Mehra’s estranged wife Nisha Rawal has been confirmed as the first contestant to get jailed inside Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming captive reality show ‘Lock Upp: Badass Jail Atyaachari Khel’. The reality show has been produced by TV czarina Ekta Kapoor, who has helmed some of the most successful shows in the history of the Indian television industry.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Nisha shared her promo video and wrote, “Bahut hua daily soap ka drama, ab shuru hoga meri life mein asli hungama!”.
As seen in the video, Nisha has been charged with ‘Controversial Fights’ and locked up inside ‘Lock Upp’.

Who Is Nisha Rawal?
Known for playing Soumya Diwan in the popular TV show Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan ki, Nisha had been embroiled in controversy recently. Last year in June, Nisha had filed an FIR against Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor and her husband Karan Mehra. She had accused Karan of domestic violence following which he was arrested by the Mumbai police. However, Karan was later granted bail.
Karan Mehra had denied the allegations of infidelity. He then accused Nisha of being physically abusive towards him, adding that their relationship has been strained to the point where he began having suicidal thoughts. He also said that Nisha hit her own head against the wall and threatened to ‘ruin’ him.
Lock Upp will begin streaming on February 27 on ALTBalaji and MX Player. Nisha and 15 other ‘controversial’ celebrities will be locked in a jail for 72 days and denied access to amenities. The show will be hosted by the ‘Panga’ actress Kangana Ranaut. It will have 16 controversial celebrities locked in jail for months without the amenities that are normally taken for granted. The show promises to keep the audience glued to their seat with daring celebrity host, compelling tasks, dramatic fights, and an exciting mix of contestants who will do anything and everything to survive the eliminations.
