Star Plus’s popular serial ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai‘ is making a lot of buzz these days. Pranali Rathod and Harshad Chopra starrer show continues garner TRP numbers. In the latestb episode, it was shown that Anisha comes there in the midst of Akshara’s birthday celebration, seeing that the ground slips under everyone’s feet. Not only this, Anisha also proposes to Kairav for marriage, which he himself is surprised to hear. Now, you will be surprised to hear that new character is all set add in the show.
The current track of the show revolves around Akshara learning about a doctor who can treat Abhimanyu’s ailment. However, the doctor has quit doing surgeries. Mrunal Jain: A New Entry In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai
All this while there has been a lot of speculation regarding the actor who’d play the role. Sources also suggest that the doctor will fell in love with Akshara. Now, as per E-Times, Uttaran actor Mrunal Jain has been roped in for the prominent character that of Abhimanyu’s doctor. Mrunal has confirmed his entry and will began shooting for the show soon. In an interview with E-Times, Mrunal said, “It is a fantastic opportunity for me to be part of the longest running show. I have never played a doctor in my career and I’m already talking to my cousins who are doctors to understand the character.”
He added, “I wanted to start working again. The opportunity knocked my door suddenly and I didn’t have to give a second thought about this show. It is better to be a part of the show that have loyal audience then doing a show which doesn’t assure any eyeballs”
Mrunal was last seen in Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Sooryavanshi’ while he has done popular show Uttran.
