1 . Neha Kakkar-Aditya Narayan : Indian Idol 11
Though, the two are happily married now with their respective partners, it was season 11 of Indian Idol, where both Neha and Aditya flirted with each other and pretended to be in love. Even their parents appeared on the show and gave them their blessings as a couple. Their wedding date was also set and some of the rituals were also performed on the show. This whole drama made headline entire season and garnered TRP in huge.
2 . Jasleen Matharu and Anup Jalota – Bigg Boss 12
Bigg Boss 12 did not make lot of buzz but, Jasleen Matharu and Anup Jalota’s love was talk in town. They entered the show as couple and claimed they were in relationship. Their age gap stunned everyone. The entire season they behave like a couple madly in love. Once the show got over, Anup Jalota clarified that Jasleen is like his daughter and in fact, he will do her ‘kanyadaan’. Jasleen too cleared the air by saying that they only share a ‘guru-shishya’ relationship.
3 . Rakhi Sawant and Elesh Parujanwala – Rakhi Ka Swayamwar
Rakhi Sawant had her ‘swayamvar’ where many contestants showed up, at the end she got engaged to NRI Elesh Parujanwala. She even participated in Pati, Patni Aur Woh with him. Eventually the whole affair went kaput and the two soon parted ways. later she even confessed that she agreed to marry him because he was rich.
4 . Ratan Rajput and Abhinav -Ratan Ka Rishta
After Rakhi Sawant’s swayamvar, it was Ratan Rajput’s turn to find someone for herself. She decided to get married on the small screen in a show called ‘Ratan Ka Rishta’. The actress even got engaged to contestant Abhinav. However, she never took it forward post the show and broke up with him. She reportedly stated that their stars did not match.
5. Maheshwari-Nityaami Shirke: Nach Baliye 9
Dancer turned actor Shantanu Maheshwari grabbed headlines for entering Nach Baliye 9 with Nityaami Shirke who he claimed was his girlfriend. However, there were several reports that stated they were not lovers but just friends. The two worked together in alt balaji series which was released just few months before they entered nach baliye. Later, in an interview with TOI , Nityaami told, “Nothing ever went wrong with our relationship. It’s just that we realised that we are better off as friends. We called it quits in February this year. However, he is still very much a part of my life and a good friend. And, we prefer it that way.”
6 . Sana Saeed and Dipesh Patel – Nach Baliye 7
In Nach Baliye 7, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai fame Sana Sayyed entered the show with Dipesh Patel. Unlike their claims, there were reports stating the two are just friends and not dating each other. Back then, a source had told TOI, “Sana is a good dancer and teaming up with Dipesh, who is a choreographer, can prove to be a win-win situation for them. In real life though, the two are just friends and not a couple.”
7 . Karan Patel and Amita Chandekar – Nach Baliye 3
Karan Patel patel entered the celebrity dance reality show nach baliye with Amita Chandekar who he claimed as his girlfriend then. The couple got immense praise for their chemistry on the show. However, once the reality show ended, Karan confessed himself that he wasn’t in a relationship with Amita. He in fact said that they faked it to be a part of Nach.

Prince Narula has now got hitched with Yuvika Chaudhary. In Bigg Boss 9, he became affectionate with dancer-actress Nora Fatehi. The Young singers Pawandeep and Arunita have been constantly linked romantically on Indian Idol 12. They have sung love songs together and entertained the audience. When Pawantdeep was away, Arunita also confessed to missing him. However, it was all fake. While talking to an entertainment portal, Aditya confessed it himself. He said that it’s all done to entertain the viewers.
