Meezaan Jaffrey says he finds rumoured girlfriend Navya Naveli Nanda ‘attractive’
Hungama 2 Actor Meezaan Jaffrey has been hounded by rumours of being in a relationship with Navya Naveli Nanda ever since he came into the public eye. Earlier, Meezaan has also spoken about how such speculation had made it uncomfortable for him to visit the Bachchans. Navya Naveli Nanda is Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan’s granddaughter.
However, Meezaan has reacted to these rumours yet again on a talk show. When the interviewer asked Meezaan about Navya, he said that they are just friends but that he finds her attractive.
Meezaan was on the show along with his sister, Alaviaa. He said that his sister and Navya are close friends. “Navya Naveli Nanda is a friend of Alaviaa that I find attractive, and she also happens to be one of the few friends of hers I am close to,” he said. In an interview a few days ago, Meezaan had confirmed that he is single. “What can I say? When I say something, they misinterpret it. Then it comes out as something else. I’m just going to tell people the truth about the situation, when there’s nothing at all. I’m single. I don’t know why these relationships are being made in my life. I’m single,” he had said.
Earlier, In an interview with ETimes, the actor had said that it became awkward for him to enter Bachchan’s house Jalsa, it became tough for him to face his parents (Mr and Mrs Javed Jafferi) as they stared looking quizzically at him. He had said, “I last went there when they hosted a Diwali bash. The entire industry was there. He also clarified that he and Navya became friends because of his sister and Navya being best friends. “They both studied together in New York, plus, our family- hers and mine- are in movies. So we know each other.”
