Manoj Bajpayee slammed RRR and KGF 2 saying that nobody is really talking about the films, everyone is just talking about numbers. He addressed said that no one wants to discuss a film in its entirety nowadays. All people talk about are the box office numbers.
A decade ago, people used to talk about the story, an actor’s performance, the music, and the film as a whole after watching a movie. But nowadays, most of the attention seems to be given to box office collection. Today, how much money a film makes at the box office determines its ‘success’. In the process, legit incredible films that may have had average earnings miss out on nationwide recognition.
Actor Manoj Bajpayee addressed this issue in an interview and said that no one wants to discuss a film in its entirety nowadays. All people talk about are the box office numbers.
The Indian Express quoted him saying: “No one is talking about the film, or how it is. No one wants to discuss the film, its performances, the other departments who have contributed in making that film.”

Koi baat karne ko raazi nahi hai performances kaesi hai. Baki departments ki kya contribution hai? Kya hai na hum sab Rs. 1000 crore aur 300 crore aur 400 crore mein phasein huye hai. Yeh jhagda kaayi saalon se chal raha hai aur mujhe lagta hai ki yeh khatam hone wala hai nahi.”. (We are all stuck at 1000 cr, 300 cr, 400 cr, and this fight has been going on for years.
