Kunal Khemu recently talked about being called ‘Underrated’ by Bollywood film goers and also revealed why he thinks films are tougher to do.
Bollywood actor Kunal Khemu’s film Kanjoos Makhichoos is garnering a lot of headlines. Kunal started his career as a child actor. He has worked in all kinds of films from romantic, thriller to comedy. Although his fans say that Kunal has been an underrated actor in the industry, he has never received the praise he deserves.
In a recent conversation with Tv9 Bharvarsh, Kunal says, “I see everything as a message. I feel like my journey is still going on. It’s good to underestimate yourself. This makes me feel that I still have a lot to achieve. The work that I am doing I enjoy it very much. By the way, everyone worries about the fruit. But that is not in our hands.
Giving the example of sports, Kunal said, “Films are not like sports. If I prepared very well to play tennis and I went to the field and gave the best performance and won. It is not like that in films at all. My hard work in the film is limited to my character. After that how the film is made, or what kind of response the film gets from the audience. It is not in my hands. Also Read: Priyanka Chahar Choudhary Gives A Befitting Reply When Asked About Abdu Rozik-MC Stan Fight
Kunal says that “As many opportunities as I get. I move forward by working on them. I get the most encouragement from the audience. While performing in the theatre, you were either clapped or abused. At the same time, many reviews of the film are also available at the box office. But the scope of audience response on OTT is very less. In such a situation, I am thankful to social media that, through it, I get to know what the public thinks about me and how much people love me.” Also Read: Anshula Kapoor breaks silence on relationship with Rohan Thakkar, shares romantic photo
