Amid massive criticism that movie ‘Adipurush’ has been facing, Kriti Sanon’s mother Geeta Sanon recently took to Instagram to share a message with the audience.
Ever since its release, Prabhas and Kriti Sanon-starrer Adipurush has been caught up in controversies, one after the other. While the Om Raut-directorial arrived in theatres with a bang on June 16, the negative word of mouth started very soon and the hype slowly started declining. The movie is trolled massivly for its poor VFX and dialogues penned by Manoj Muntashir.
Infact, the criticism received was so much that the makers of the film have now revised certain dialogues in the film. The controversy-ridden film, which registered a bumper opening at the box office only to witness a major drop in collections as negative word of mouth spread on social media, is now screening in theatres with altered dialogues.The makers have come up with attractive ticket prices and audience seem to not so interested anyways. Geeta Sanon took to Instagram and wrote, ‘”Jaki rahi bhavana jaisi, prabhu murat dekhi tin taisi”… Iska arth hai ki achi soch aur drushti se dekho toh srushti sundar hi dikhayi degi. Bhagwan Ram ne hi hamein sikhaya hai ki shabri ke ber mein uska prem dekho na ki yeh ki woh juthe the..Insaan ki galati ko nahi uski bhaavna ko samjho. Jai Shri Ram.’
Kriti Sanon’s Mother Geeta Sanon On Adipurush Controversy
Soon after Kriti’s mother shared this post, netizens started trolling her in the comments section. A user wrote, ‘You shouldn’t support this anti Hindu film blindly. You should teach your daughter Hindu values instead of encouraging her in anti Hindu activities’, while another one wrote, ‘Aap adipurush ko support kar rahi ho, just because your daughter playing a role in it?? Third user commented, “I’m a big of kriti sanon and her work, but jo galat hai wo hai. And they should respect audiences. Coz agar audience nahi rahegi to aapki film kon dekhega. So respect their views”. Fourth commented, “Jo language ka aap use kar Rahi ho maate, uska 50 percent bhi movie me use kar lete instead of those cringe dialogue to bhi Prem samjh kar dekh lete. Maybe you haven’t seen the movie yet”.
On the other hand, Kriti’s sister and actress Nupur Sanon showed her support for her mother’s post and the film as she commented, ‘Ekdum sahi ❤️ :)’.
Kriti Sanon Adipurush Fee
The film marks Kriti’s second release of the year after Shehzada with Kartik Aaryan. Kriti has been working on the role since 2 years and her transformation is being liked by her fans. As per Jagran report, For the film, Kriti has reportedly been paid Rs 30 crores as her salary.
