The video starts with KJo introducing ‘the powerhouse performer’ Dhanush and ‘the gorgeous and supremely talented’ Sara. It then shows KJo asking some interesting questions to the duo. Dhanush gave an honest and witty answer to Karan’s question.
When asked ‘If you woke up one morning as Rajini sir, what would you do?’ To this Dhanush said, ‘stay as Rajini sir’, leaving KJo and Sara in splits. Sara also gave an interesting answer when asked about her swayamvar.
The video is captioned as, “Will @dhanushkraja spill any beans on his Koffee debut? We’ll know tomorrow in this fun-filled episode of #KoffeeShotsWithKaran #AtrangiRe.
Speaking about the upcoming episode, Karan said, “This is my most Atrangi episode on Koffee Shots With Karan yet! It was great to be back on the Koffee couch once again and it was even more special that it was with Sara and Dhanush, especially given that it was Dhanush’s debut on the show! What made it really atrangi was the chemistry between Sara and Dhanush! They’re both poles apart and make an Atrangi duo together! This only added to the fun we had during the shoot!”
Further Karan asked Dhanush about his thoughts on the Indian film industry as a whole and how they should “look at themselves as products of Indian cinema, and not regional anymore.” ALos Read-Bollywood Stars Approved Black Lehengas To Dazzle This Winter Wedding
To this, Dhanush said that he has been promoting the same thought since 2013, when he was doing the promotions of Raanjhanaa. “I said the same thing that, ‘Don’t call it north films, south films, it should be Indian films, I’m an Indian actor’. So don’t write, when you write about me, like ‘south actor Dhanush’. I’m just an actor, that’s it,” he said.
When asked if Atrangi Re is an important film for him in the Hindi space, Dhanush said, “I don’t see this as ‘its a very important film for me in Hindi’. It is an important film for me because it’s directed by my brother so it is very important that way, but in other ways, every film I do is very important for me.” Also Read-10 Bollywood Movie Death Scenes That Will Surely Make You Cry
He added that he doesn’t choose films based on languages, but on their story. “I don’t choose films based on ‘I need this for Hindi or I need this for Tamil’. Whichever story comes my way, I find it interesting, I try to be a part of it and I try to do justice to that character. That’s how I am seeing this one also,” he said.
Dhanush also appreciated Sara Ali Khan’s performance in the film. “She was very sincere from the word go,” Dhanush said, adding that he was “pleasantly surprised by how seriously she took this part.” ALso Read-Katrina Kaif To Salman Khan: Here’s How Much These Bollywood Celebs Charge To Dance At Weddings
