Kangana Ranaut said that there is a need to discourage Hollywood movies and instead promote Indian stories from different languages.

In a latest press conference, she has now expressed that people want to deter watching English films. IANS quoted her saying, “We want to behave like one nation. We need to stop dividing ourselves like North India or South India. Not only this, Kangana also thinks that Hollywood has destroyed the French, Italian, German and different industries by growing a world monopoly in entertainment. She said, “This is what they are doing here additionally… We don’t respect each other, and rather see the dubbed versions of Lion King or Jungle Book. But we will not give a dubbed version of a Malayalam movie a chance. This will not paintings in our favour. We ought to keep our people and our industry our priority. She said, “I am a nationalist and I speak for the country not because I am a politician but as a responsible citizen. And as far as coming into politics is concerned, I might want lots of aid from the public but right now I am happy to be an actress. But if tomorrow people like me and support me, then definitely I would love to.”
Meanwhile, On the work front, Kangana has quite a few projects lined up next. She has been roped in to play the role of Goddess Sita in “The Incarnation-Sita”. She also has her action films Dhaakad and Tejas. She was most recently seen in the political film Thalaivi.
