Kangana Ranaut took an indirect dig at Alia Bhatt and her father Mahesh Bhatt ahead of the release of Alia’s film Gangubai Kathiawadi.
Just last week, Kangana Ranaut shared a veiled review of Deepika Padukone starrer Gehraiyaan, in which she called the domestic noir film ‘trash’. The Queen star had written: “bad movies are bad movies no amount of skin show or pornography can save it… it’s basic fact koi gehraiyaan wali baat nahi hai.”

There has been a lot of discussion regarding the casting of Gangubai Kathiawadi. Many felt that Alia was too young to suit the character. Many even shared how Kangana or someone like Vidya Balan would have been apt for the role. Well, if nothing else, the Queen actress agrees to the casting part.
In her post, Kangana took a dig at Alia Bhatt, who is headlining the project, by referring to her as ‘papa ki pari’. The Manikarnika star also mentioned the fact that Alia possesses a British passport. In another post, Kangana claimed that ‘Bollywood’s mafia daddy papa’ has ruined the work culture in the film industry and accused him of manipulating many big directors. She went on to add, “People need to stop entertaining him, in this Friday release even a big hero and greatest director are the new victims of his manipulations…”

It seems Kangana is hinting at father Mahesh Bhatt as the ‘movie mafia daddy’. For the unversed, Alia Bhatt once revealed that she wasn’t casting vote at elections because she owned a British Passport. She also promised dual citizenship but that concept isn’t yet welcomed in India.
