Kangana Ranaut has spoken up after Twitter suspended her account for violation of terms of service. She has said that this partisan and unfair action by Twitter shouldn’t change the main target, and other people should still demand an end to the violence in West Bengal.
“I want to request everyone keep the main target on Bengal violence and pressurise the govt to prevent the genocide. Whole focus has gone to the suspension (of my Twitter account). It doesn’t matter I can come via many platforms, let’s not make it that,” Opindia Reported her as saying.
Though media reports claimed that Kangana’s Twitter account was suspended for a tweet that would be seen as a requirement for retributive violence, Kangana told OpIndia that she has not received any communication from Twitter with specifics about her account suspension.
She reiterated that she wasn’t posing for any violence but imposition of President’s rule out Bengal in wake of widespread violence happening within the state, during which many of us, mostly BJP supporters are killed. Even local leaders of parties just like the CPM and Congress have claimed that their officers and workers are attacked by goons supporting Mamata’s Banerjee’s TMC.
Kangana further revealed that her account was suspended within minutes of she putting up a video message where she asked for imposition of President’ rule out Bengal. She also asked why the media isn’t bothered or why the union government is scared of imposing President’s rule.
“My twiiter account suspended right after i posted a video on twitter demanding president rule to stop genocide in bengal.” she further added, “There are multiple FIR’ filed on my in bengal yesterday this is the secular india they want to sell you where hindu’s and thei voices getting butchered”
